We do not charge a set fee to be a member of VCF, but we do have a suggested annual donation which varies for different roles within the profession.

  • Practising Veterinary surgeons: £60 per year or £5 per month
  • Practising Veterinary Nurses: £10 per year
  • Non-veterinary professional interested parties (e.g. Vet Receptionist): £10 per year
  • Vet and Nursing Students, Missionaries, Retired folk and full time Christian workers: free

As this is a suggested donation, please feel free to give whatever you wish, be that more or less than the suggested amount!

If you are looking to join the VCF then please visit our Membership page where you can find out more information, sign up, and donate online.

Gift Aid It?

Gift Aid increases the value of your donations to VCF by allowing us to reclaim basic rate tax on your gift, meaning we can claim 25% on top of your donation. For example, on a £60 donation, we can claim back an additional £15 gift aid on your behalf.

We can only reclaim Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer. We will use your registered address to allow HMRC to identify you as a current UK taxpayer. More about Gift Aid.

By selecting 'Yes' above you are confirming that you are a UK taxpayer and that you understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

Please notify VCF finance@vcf.org.uk if you:
  • want to cancel this declaration
  • change your name or home address
  • no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains tax

Please email the webmaster if you encounter any problems.
