Vet looking for opportunity in a veterinary practice or related industry to make use of IT, administrative and organisational skills.   

 VCF member who is currently working in small animal practice but has recently worked in mixed practice is looking for an opportunity to work with his interest and skills in administration, organisation and IT  whilst being flexible about clinical work.

Christian Vets to work in Nigera (with Mission Africa)

Mission Africa is seeking to expand our ministry to the Fulani, a rugged cattle herding people found across West and Central Africa. The Fulani are one of the largest unreached people groups in the world.

We are seeking Christian vets (both short and long term placements) to work in Nigeria amongst the Fulani.  Veterinary work offers an immediate entry into Fulani society, where cattle are most highly prized.

Working alongside experienced local evangelists, you would be building friendships and showing the practical love of Christ to a tremendously needy people.

Veterinary Workers in Asia and Chad (with WEC)

WEC International is one of the largest UK based mission agencies, with workers in over 70 countries.  We currently have openings for Veterinary workers in Asia and Chad.  Both posts are in rural settings working among nomadic peoples. The applicant would be part of a larger team, working together to see hearts and lives impacted with the gospel and a local church established.  Both posts are unsalaried, as all WEC workers seek God for their personal support.

MSI Professional Services Livestock Programme

Position: Farmers / Agriculturists / Veterinarians

Place: Rural China

Role:

1. Work in partnership with the County Animal Husbandry Bureau.
2. Provide consultancy to the Bureau, train local farmers and officials, community organising, managing, planning and implementing MSI livestock projects
3. Provide consultancy especially for the local livestock industry 

Term: At least 3 years 

Qualifications:

1. A heart for the poor
2. Livestock / Agriculture major with experience in livestock farming or
3. Qualified veterinarian with experience in livestock industry and/or
4. Five or more years of experience in farming / agriculture
5. Experience in business and marketing (especially livestock industry) or cooperatives would be an advantage

Language: Able to speak and read Chinese preferred (if not, must be willing to go for language learning)
