What inspired you to become a Vet?

What inspired you to become a Vet? Reading James Herriot and watching All Creatures Great and Small many years ago, certainly was part of my inspiration.

Perhaps you look back and love the way that vet practice was all those decades ago. Knowing your clients, caring for their animals, going that extra mile for them and being part of the local community.

Rackheath Vets opened in February with a similar ethos in an architectural designed refurbished building and we are looking for a Vet with a pioneering spirit to join us.

We are based in north Norwich and are a Nurse training practice with 5 RVNs and 2 Student Nurses. Our emphasis is on providing high quality individual contextualised care to our clients and their pets. We have all the equipment to enable this to happen. We are keen for all employees to develop to their full potential and there is the opportunity for equity share within the next 10 years for the right person. Ideally someone who likes imaging and medicine would be our best fit, either full or part-time. However, we are very flexible and the most important thing is a team player with a good sense of humour!
