West Midlands
Last week we had our first proper meeting of the West Midlands VCF since before Covid!
We had three new members join us and held the meeting at my house, with pizza, cakes, doughnuts plus a few veggies and fruit salad to make it seem vaguely healthy. It was lovely to meet the new members and to get together again. Three people who could not make it in person for various reasons joined via Zoom which was great.
We caught up with what each other had been up to, with 1 new baby and one on the way in the group and spent a bit of time looking at what it looks like to be God’s people in the workplace based on Ephesians 4:1-4. One of the questions was “What would your practice look like if there were 10 of you in it?” Some interesting answers, but I don’t think any of us will be rushing to clone ourselves if it ever becomes possible!
We’d love to hear from anyone else in the Midlands region, be that Vet, Nurse or Lay staff, you are most welcome to join us. We are planning a (brisk!) wintery walk next and meeting again in January for Bible study as well as more pizza and doughnuts.
